Great healthcare benefits. Fair pay.
Always very stressful days, even worse between January-March when there was mandatory overtime. Pay was decent but most of the time would nowhere near compensate for how stressful the work was. Employees who were good at their job were "rewarded" by getting trained in more areas and therefore took far more/more challenging phone calls than others. A lot of employees who had been there quite a while coasted along doing the bare minimum and got away with it.
Advice to Management
Don't let harder working employees feel like they're being punished for doing well and get more work than others. Even though you're recognizing their accomplishments you're also being unfair to them by doing so.
I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Catamaran in September 2016.
Not prepared and have a candidate wait for 30 minutes. Supervisors not experienced and communicate negatives. I am sure UHC will.be revamping management and doing layoffs as they have done with their acquisition s.
