I have been working at Cavallo Point full-time (More than 3 years)
I've worked at Cavallo Point for over 4 years and feel so lucky to be a part of the Cavallo team/family. At Cavallo Point we are one big family and work together to make our guest's experience superb. I started at the Front Desk 4 years ago and then worked helping the Chef Concierge, then I worked as the Sales & Catering Coordinator and now work as the Executive Assistant to the General Manager. Cavallo is a beautiful place to work and the management is respectful and understanding. I recommend anyone looking for a hospitality position in the Bay Area to apply at Cavallo Point.
I don't believe there are any cons to working here. We are located at Fort Baker which is a bit deep in Sausalito but as long as you allow yourself enough time to get to work it should not be a problem!
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Cavallo Point (Sausalito, CA) in August 2016.
The interview process was informative yet had a mellow approachable feel to it. The interview questions are standard as far as reviewing experience, how you handle stressful situations and what you are seeking in the position applied for. I received a tour of the property as well as a further description of what they are looking for in an employee. I left with a pretty clear understanding of what they are seeking.
