    I have been working at Cejka Search full-time (More than 10 years)


    Having spent more than 30 years in physician search and 20 years at Cejka Search, I remain excited being a member of Cejka. The firm has and remains one of the top and most professional national search firms in the United States.

    Many search firms have come and gone during the time Cejka and one other firm began physician search over 35 years ago. Even through difficult economic business cycles our country faced during the late 80s, the recession years in some of the 90s, the aftermath of 9/11, and the 2008/2009 recession, Cejka remained successful. As with all companies, things are not always perfect but through hard work by management and all of the associates, challenges were met. Cejka has the most tenured staff in the industry but continually seeks top talent who desire to make physician search their career.

    As the physician shortage continues to make it extremely difficult for groups, health systems, and academic institutions to find qualified candidates, our clients rely on us to help them fill their positions. This demands a great deal of commitment and professionalism by all of our associates. For those who are not afraid to work, take direction, and embrace technology, I highly recommend our firm.

    Lastly, management has invested a great deal on adding technologic recruitment tools to help the recruiters and search consultants fill their searches with the best available candidates on a timely basis.


    Recruiters who have not been successful found the stresses and time commitment needed was not in sync to their personal needs. The demands of the job can be seen as a con, however, I see it as an opportunity to be financially very successful and professionally rewarding for those who come onboard understanding the expectations.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to invest in the top tools to assist recruiters and consultants to be successful on behalf of the firm's clients.
