Berkeley HeartLab offered the opportunity to work with caring people and some were very good at their jobs. We felt we made a difference in patient's lives with new technology that helped lower their risk of heart disease.
There were many changes around that time and it was tough to tell what direction the company was going. We weren't always sure why we were doing what we were doing.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at Celera Group (Alameda, CA) in June 2012.
The interview process consists of multiple panels. I met with individuals from four different departments: Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Development. The day began with a meeting that included all the QC analysts, followed by a one on one with the QC manager. Then I met with the Director of QC, Director of QA, Manufacturing Chemists and Manager. The day ended with an interview with Development scientists.
Reasons for Declining
I decided to persue another job opportunity.
