I worked at Celfinet full-time
Pros
-If you're starting your professional career/ finishing your studies this is a nice place. You'll be in a good environment to learn, with a lot of different areas (services, product) inside telco.
- Good environment, great people there;
Cons
-There's no career path and your salary probably will be the same forever. If you're junior, you should be looking for a different path to you after an year. If you're senior, try negotiate well in the moment that you're joining into the company.
-There's no recognition for the people who work hard neither a requirement for more to the people who slack => unfair salary table.
-No budget for real training sessions.
Advice to Management
-HR should have a clear description in the proposal when they are recruiting people without false promises for a uncertain future (salary revisions after 6 months that are forgotten; an high value in benefits when isn't clear what are exactly the benefits and when they will be available)
-You cannot have an idea of a solid software product only with juniors/trainees developers and having seniors only for a few months.
Application
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Celfinet (Lisbon (Portugal)) in November 2015.
Interview
The process has two interviews, now related to technical matters and one with Human Resources. It can be a 3rd interview but may be optional. In the first one, typically you're interviewed by the Manager and some team members.
