His first store was located on 24th Street West in Billings, Montana, followed by a second store in Billings Rimrock Mall. Adam began with 2 employees but within a few months had 6 employees. I have been working at Cellular Plus (More than a year)
-Great pay. You'll have a hard time finding a job that pays this well and requires little experience.
-Amazing culture. It is a culture of competition and teamwork. You are always striving to be the best team, which means working together so that you are all successful.
-Best coworkers/upper management. The company primarily promotes from within, so you find a lot of experienced leaders within the company, and everyone likes to have fun and make money.
-Many, many, many new sales reps are entitled and have no idea what hard work means. They generally get weeded out quickly, but they are still awful to deal with.
-Scorecard is strict and stressful, and there is little leeway for you when you're having a string of down months.
Advice to Management
Work harder to understand the situations surrounding bad scorecards, but especially for veteran reps. No one who has done amazing work for the company for multiple years should be afraid for their job for having a few down months, especially if the store has been slow/environment or store manager has been bad.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Cellular Plus (Billings, MT) in July 2017.
There were two interviews with the HR director and the Vice President of Sales. I was invited to interview by phone for the first time. From there we followed up by email. The interviews were very personal and not as robotic as interviews tend to be. I felt like I was in a conversation with the HR Director and the VP. They were very candid about expectations and challenges they've faced with the position and asked me to think about how to revolutionize the role. Following up with both interviews were within 1.5 weeks which I thought was in the professional and reasonable range. More importantly I felt like I got to show who I really am and what I can do to contribute through both interviews.
