    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Center for Communication Programs full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Fantastic people at all levels that know how to work hard but have fun. If you are good, you can move ahead quickly. Opportunities to get involved in all different parts of the organization if you are willing and enthusiastic. Great travel opportunities and a real commitment to its staff. Salaries are pretty good and excellent benefits - including generous 403b plan and vacation time. Don't agree with comments here about it being passive aggressive - I have never found that.

    Cons

being affiliated with the university has its benefits but it makes the processes to get things done slow and cumbersome.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Center for Communication Programs (Baltimore, MD) in August 2014.

    Interview

Very easy interview itself - proved my work through interning for months beforehand. Easier if have a personal connection to make introductions. Because interned, didn't have a formal interview. I've heard some can be hard and some can be with many people at once or separately.
