THE CENTRO MANIFESTO
We, as individuals, employees, and leaders of Centro, BELIEVE:
Lasting success can only be achieved through dedication to the growth, well-being and happiness of an individual
Each person is responsible for her/his own improvement, the improvement of those around them, and the improvement of the company
We live by the following PRINCIPLES:
Self-Improvement – We desire to grow and learn continuously. Our happiness is determined by the amount of personal investment made in our own growth.
Integrity – We live our lives with the highest level of moral, ethical, and “true north” principles. Integrity is the national principle for lasting success.

A Vision for Modern Media
We despise inefficiency because it wastes our most precious asset: time. Centro is on a mission to change the way digital media is done. Our holistic approach streamlines and organizes digital media operations across 100% of online advertising channels and inventory, eliminating silos and complexity.
Decision Intelligence and Data Science
Centro maintains a granular historical record of every campaign we've executed since 2007. That data, and associated meta-data, play a central role in the software we build. Our goal is simple: turn the raw data into actionable information and intelligence. The end result is even simpler: more effective campaigns for your advertisers and agencies.
Technology and Engineering
Built on the twin pillars of Ruby on Rails and Java, Centro software leverages a modern SaaS 2.0 tech stack, a service-oriented architecture and machine learning. Our product suite is a marvel of efficient, high-performance, high-throughput software and systems engineering processing tens of billions of transactions per day at sub-10 millisecond latencies. These transactions are closely analyzed by Hadoop, Pentaho, neo4Js, R and some proprietary technologies that turn data into actionable insight. With RESTful APIs, we empower customers and partners and expand our ecosystem.
People are at the heart of everything we do. It should come as no surprise that our employees are our greatest asset. So to truly see who we are as a company, you need to take a look at who we are as individuals.
I have been working at Centro full-time (Less than a year)
I’ve been working at Centro just shy of a year and I absolutely love it. •The People – I get to work with some of the kindest, most compassionate people I’ve ever known. We truly care about each other and our work which makes for a hardworking, cohesive team. This is the first position where I truly enjoy coming into work every day to see my coworkers (my friends) and do amazing work. •The Company – Creating a platform to reinvent digital advertising is not a small task. That’s what I love about our company – we have no small plans and we work hard every day. Our company has values and espouses those values through our product, our people, and our passion. •The Culture – Our manifesto isn’t just for looks – we truly live by those principles. You see people laughing and truly enjoying their time here, which is another reason why I love working here. Yes, we have amazing benefits along with an awesome office, but the people are what make it great – the people make the culture. I love it here and I’m blessed to call Centro my home away from home!
There aren't any cons in my opinion.
Advice to Management
Keep being awesome.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Centro (Dallas, TX) in October 2015.
After submitting my resume and cover letter, I had an initial conversation with a recruiter. After this, the process became disorganized and opaque. After each phone interview I received an email saying I received "great feedback" and would have to talk to another individual within the organization. I made clear in my cover letter that I would be in the area during a specific time frame, but the recruiters did not take this into consideration at all when trying to schedule in-person interviews (these ended up being two Skype interviews). After this I was informed that I need to have yet another interview with an individual who was not a manager or superior. This brought the total up to six. I decided that after going back and forth for several weeks that this organization would not be a good fit for me. They also re-posted the position while I was still interviewing for the position.
