Technology and Engineering
Built on the twin pillars of Ruby on Rails and Java, Centro software leverages a modern SaaS 2.0 tech stack, a service-oriented architecture and machine learning. Our product suite is a marvel of efficient, high-performance, high-throughput software and systems engineering processing tens of billions of transactions per day at sub-10 millisecond latencies. I have been working at Centro full-time (More than 3 years)
Centro does a great job bringing in talented, intelligent and caring people. We have an incredible company culture that truly embodies it's core values and encourages personal growth for all employees. I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Centro (Chicago, IL) in August 2015.
I applied online and received an email back from a recruiter within the hour and had a short phone screen with that recruiter a couple of days later. The day of the phone screen they emailed asking me to set up a technical phone interview which I did the following week The day after the technical phone interview they offered to fly me in for an on-site interview which I schedule for the following week. The on-site interview took a few hours and consisted of technical challenges as well as the standard interview questions. I was impressed with their promptness throughout this process.
