I worked at Century Health Servcies full-time
Century Health Services is a smaller company compared to other agencies in the industry and focuses on its local impact. Their relationship with local facilities is strong. It is headed by people who are sincere in their desire to improve health care delivery to high-need patient populations. Beings how they help facilitate contracted employment in the nursing fields, work/life balance can be rewarding since staff are typically obligated to only three shifts per week (i.e., overtime can not be mandated by the contracting employer; only requested).
Due to its limited size and age, it's less established in other regions as of yet. Also, the payment structure is less robust than competitors and relies on third-parties to help handle the taxable and non-taxable earnings. There could be better opportunities and benefits for ongoing education and career advancement as well. Currently, there are not discounts to certified master's programs or corporate pathways for advancement.
Advice to Management
Consider going public to increase capital for growth. Also, consider streamlining the payment processes so as not to have too many agencies involved in what could be a more direct relationship between employer and employee.
