I worked at Ceres full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Smart people, great mission. Mindy Lubber's leadership is great. Nice benefits and apple laptops.

    Cons

Limits to upward mobility, low salaries. Middle management isn't always great. Sometimes the balance between effort and payoff is a little off - I think they can value their work and time more highly.

    Advice to Management

Provide better paths to advancement for junior employees; provide better management training

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Ceres (Boston, MA) in October 2015.

    Interview

My interviewing process only got as far as an phone interview, but they asked very generic interview questions (i.e. "describe yourself in three words") that almost seemed as if they searched "job interview questions" right before the call. During the portion of the interview when I asked them questions, their responses did not put Ceres work atmosphere in the greatest light.
