We're growing and invite you to grow with us!
We've recently partnered with Portland Public Schools and invite you to be a part of this grand opening, as we celebrate the passion of the community we are serving in partnership with Portland Public Schools.
Join us on July 18 at our corporate headquarters where you’ll have the opportunity to talk with Champions hiring managers, KinderCare Education leaders and learn what it's like as a teacher working for America’s most accredited child care provider.
At Champions, we believe that education creates brighter futures. Our team members are passionate about creating a world of learning, joy, and adventure for children every day. We are a leading provider of high-quality programs for before- and after-school learning and break time camps. Every day, Champions provides fun learning experiences to more than 15,000 students at over 500 sites in 18 states.
“To me, the mission is very clear: it is about children. We have an opportunity, starting with children in their most formative years, to really change their lives forever.”—Tom Wyatt, CEO Knowledge Universe
Champions is proud to be part of the KinderCare Education family of companies which includes KinderCare® Learning Centers, Cambridge Schools®, Knowledge Beginnings® and the Grove Schools™.
We believe that great teachers can change the world, so every year, we honor our very best. We recognize their amazing work with a $10,000 check (they're pretty surprised).
We are the only early childhood education company to recognize talented early childhood education teachers with such a significant reward. We are committed to finding even more ways to honor teaching and elevate teachers who inspire children to dream big, discover, laugh and learn. Won't you join us?
The families and schools that we serve love what we’re doing for students. Here’s why:
We transform school spaces. Schools with limited resources are wowed by how our site staff can transform a gym or a classroom into an inspiring space for learning.
We support classroom learning. If children are learning about American history, a Champions program might host Pioneer Days, where kids make apple dolls or create their own maps. That reinforces lessons kids are getting in class.
We give kids a choice and a voice. We create five distinct activity areas that cover physical fitness, literacy, creativity, nutrition, and math/science—and children have the freedom to choose how they spend their time.
Homework gets done. Staff works directly with teachers and families to ensure kids are getting their home work completed during program hours.
We believe in fun. We give them time to be a kid—because play is critical to academic learning.
We’re accredited! This summer, Champions was awarded a prestigious AdvancED corporate accreditation. Why is it so important? It means that Champions meets rigorous standards of education and care. Why do we do it? Because it's the right thing to do for kids.
The Champions Robotics Program
Champion students across the country are learning computer science with an adorable robot named Nao. This cutting-edge 21st century learning program implemented after school districts requested more STEM learning. The most important thing for engaging our school-age students? The kids absolutely love this three foot tall, dancing, talking, robot. Take a look.
At Champions, we believe that talent is as important as experience: We're looking for warm, curious people who exude positivity and see the potential in others and in themselves. Interested in joining us? We’re building careers in early childhood education—find a team near you!

I have been working at Champions full-time (Less than a year)
Great environment and kids to work with
Outdoor play space at all schools isn't the greatest
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Champions (Holland, PA) in October 2017.
Easy going and quick. Very nice and wants to know experience. Asks hypothetical what if questions and open to critiques to improve and teach you successful ways to fill your position. Overall great!
