I worked at Chanel full-time
A lot of learning about fashion. Good people, and culture. Keep being busy.
No work and life balance. sacrifice yourself.
I was invited to interview at Chanel for role A, and was also invited by a headhunter to interview for a separate role B in another division.
The interview for role A went well; I met with the HR contact and then a fairly decent interview with a senior executive. Within a day I was contacted to come back and meet with several other people.
Before I went in to interview for role B, I was called by the headhunter to tell me that the interview was cancelled, as I had already interviewed for role B. The next day, I was called by the senior executive and berated for daring to interview for both roles. Excuse me for showing so much interest in your company that I accepted both interviews extended to me. Your HR department should know who they are interviewing and when if it is such a big deal to interview for multiple roles within the company. A truly unprofessional and unpleasant experience that made me glad I don't work there to begin with.
