Charles Schwab – Why Work For Us?

The more diverse experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives at the table, the stronger our team is - and our ability to serve our clients best. Take it from Jennifer, who urges women to sign up for a career in Financial Services and lead the way in transforming this industry.

More women are earning advanced degrees and higher salaries, resulting in greater purchasing power. This is changing the way women approach their financial futures. And it's why we believe it's critical that our female employees get involved, actively develop their careers, and help lead our company in reaching out to those women who need help, support, and guidance.

The financial services industry at times seems to underrepresent women's interests. That's why it's so important to Schwab that we recruit quality female employees.

People think financial services is just about stocks and bonds. Here at Schwab, we believe it is about helping improve people’s lives.  At Schwab, what unites our employees is a shared belief that the work we do can make a direct impact on the client.

Stephen is a graduate of the Schwab Financial Consultant Academy

The Schwab Financial Consultant Academy is a developmental rotational program that prepares individuals for a career as a Financial Consultant in one of our branches. We’re looking for a select group of individuals who will earn a spot on our team.

It has long been our belief that the service we offer our clients sets us apart from our competitors. As we plan for significant growth in the future, maintaining a strong network of financial consultants who see the world Through Clients’ Eyes remains a high priority. The Schwab Financial Consultant Academy is a developmental rotational program that prepares individuals for a career as a financial consultant in one of our branches.

Our commitment to building an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued is what sets us apart. Schwab is dedicated to building and maintaining a dynamic organization and culture that reflect the individual strengths of every person who is a part of the company. Received a call from the recruiter and immediately they start asking salary questions be careful with that! They ask a lot of questions about possible scenarios of angry client's and how you handled. Be wary they offer amazing bonuses and over time. Neither is easily attained; bonus is paid in tiers depending on seniority, pay grade level, and extra roles you took. Overtime is offered twice a year and limited.

    Interview Questions

    • Summarize the worse comment received by a manager   1 Answer

Terrible, they tell you they cannot negotiate. They lie, negotiate at least 10-13% more, that is their latitude
