    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Chartwells Schools full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I've been with the company for the past three years and have witnessed a lot of change. The change has been all positive, and we have a Corporate office that not only supports the field operations, but is actively involved in making sure everyone is engaged and feels like part of the team. We work hard, but also know how to have fun. Chartwells Schools has an environment that encourages upward growth, and provides many opportunities to those that are looking to get ahead in their careers.

Our new CEO is fabulous and well-liked by all levels of the organization, which is rare in most companies.

    Cons

As with any fast growing and large organization, there are some individuals that struggle to let go of the past and embrace positive cultural changes. There are not many, but those that struggle to move forward with the rest of the company can be stumbling blocks for those that are excited about the future.

    Advice to Management

Continue putting our people first and allowing a positive culture to drive policy.

    Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Chartwells Schools (San Mateo, CA) in September 2013.

    Interview

Brief Application and quick interview. Applying as only a small school cafeteria worker I found there to be very little I could do to hinder the interview process. As a teenager I was a perfect match. If you are applying here, you'll surely get the job.
