I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Checkr (San Francisco, CA) in December 2016.
Initial phone screen - nothing crazy, mostly my background and understanding the company
On site - 3 coding exercises, a whiteboard architecture discussion, and a culture interview with HR
The whole process is very fast! They will get back to you with a offer/rejection very quickly. Checkr also pushes you to accept the offer very quickly as well, so be prepared to make your decision.
