    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Cherry Hill Construction as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Small office, relaxed working environment. I came into the job not knowing anything about construction and definitely came out knowing a lot. I appreciated being able to contribute to bids and design plans. I had a wide range of tasks, from very easy to fairly challenging tasks.

    Cons

Not a very organized intern program. Many days there was no work for me to do.

    Advice to Management

Strengthen the internship program to get the most out of your interns and make sure they get the most out of their experience. Would have been nice to have planned exposure to the project management and field engineering aspects of the career.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cherry Hill Construction in September 2014.

    Interview

The interview session was very laid back and relaxed. The recruiter did not have any openings at the time but he wanted to get to know me and build relationships for future possible openings. He also cared a lot about how and where I can be a good fit in the company.

    Interview Questions

    • I was asked what position I see myself filling or what kind of work do I see myself doing in the firm. Be sure to research and be ready to answer that question.   Answer Question
