I have been working at Chicago Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center full-time (Less than a year)
The residents are cool, there's not much supervision. Time goes by fast. Paycheck every other mon. Learned a lot.
Lots of tattle-tails, equipment is old and broken, employees have nasty attitudes, so does management (w the exception of one person) you need thick skin to work here. lots of turnover, most people quit shortly after they start.
Advice to Management
Stop playing employees against each other, learn how to respect people. Update the equipment. Dont be so rude, stop favoring certain people just cuz they snitch on co workers, use better judgement when assigning rooms to residents. Buy new linen and throw away the old, buy new geri chairs
