Stuck in traditional model of child sponsorship. Continues to rely on in-kind donations that are not shown to improve the lives of those they seek to help, but that is necessary to make donors feel important.
Advice to Management
Move to more innovative models and new enclaves of donor engagement are necessary. Attracting young professional and millennial donors is a challenge that deserves more attention for the sake of the company's longevity.
I applied online. I interviewed at ChildFund International.
The first interview was over the phone with human resources. The woman was very kind and answered any questions I had to the best of her ability. This interview was straight forward and simple; seemed like a general screening simply to see whether or not I was competent. A second phone interview follows the first, with the actual hiring director. The last interview is an in person, panel interview.
