About Childcare Network
Childcare Network is the 4th largest for profit child care organization in North America. With over 200 schools in 11 states, we are the leading early care and preschool education provider in the southern United States.
Why we are The Working Parent’s Best Friend
Our Childcare Network family consists of over 25,000 children and their families. We have a responsibility to further the education and wellness of every child we teach, and we take that very seriously! At Childcare Network, we engage our parents, local partners, and other advocates in our communities to provide high quality, age appropriate, affordable early care and education. We are there to support our families, as they maneuver through the joys and challenges of raising strong, caring, bright young children in this busy world.
We go above and beyond to create safe teaching environments that allow parents to feel comfortable going to work each day while their child is with us. We deliver our high quality education, while striving to keep our costs less than other premium private child care providers. The directors at each location make sure that everything they do is done in a way that creates a positive experience for both parents and children in their school.
Your family IS our family at Childcare Network, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
We combine that strength with our community based philosophy in each school. Directors are encouraged to accentuate their programs with additional values that are important to the families in their community. Building partnerships, which takes us back to why we are The Working Parents Best Friend.
Our Philosophy & Mission
Our mission at Childcare Network is to provide children with the highest quality early care and education and to serve as a supportive network and resource for families. We want to ensure our program is educational, safe, and affordable for families. Every morning at Childcare Network, parents put their children in trustworthy hands. We are committed to the recruitment and hiring of the best qualified staff. After a new teacher is hired, we support them through ongoing professional development and training.
We have over 200 locations to teach at across the Southeasten states!
It All Started Across the Chattahoochee River
How did we get to over 200 schools in 25 years? It all started in 1988 with two locations. One in Columbus, GA and another that still operates in Phenix City, AL. Both cities connect over the Chattahoochee River. Since then, we have developed into so much more than a small day care provider. We have the support as a large company to provide our communities with superior systems that are in place to protect their children and provide exceptional care. Safety procedures, licensing requirements, staffing credentials, educational curriculum, and policies are established to ensure parents that their child is in good hands.
I have been working at Childcare Network full-time (More than 10 years)
*Childcare Network is incredibly supportive of the teachers and directors.
*They encourage continuing my education and will pay for classes.
*The teachers I work with are rock stars!!!
*I've worked at a couple different schools and the directors have gone out of their way to be supportive and get what is needed for the classroom.
*Older buildings but have seen a lot of repairs and they respond quickly if something gets broken.
Advice to Management
Love the openness of the company and the support that we get to do our jobs well so please keep doing that.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Childcare Network (Norcross, GA) in January 2017.
The interview was quick and easy. I applied this job by walk-in. Apparently they are short of staff. I filed some papers and they asked me several basic questions and that's it. But I need to do the background check and get my teaching level evaluated by the PDS before they could hire me. Those were something I had to do by myself.
