I worked at Children's Learning Center full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They offer a friendly atmosphere to employees and are very loyal to their employee's trying to accommodate them as much as possible.

    Cons

Benefits and pay are not as great as could be for teacher assistants & teacher aide floaters working part time. They don't offer a 401K retirement plan either.

    Advice to Management

Administrators please make sure to strengthen your communication skills between the office and the classrooms to ensure a smooth running center is at its most successful.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Children's Learning Center (Stamford, CT) in September 2017.

    Interview

1st interview with the manager. Second interview with the coordinators. Ask you a series of questions in both about yourself and classroom situations. Received a call back for an offer a day later from both interviews but declined. If you've made any plans to go on trips, e.g beforehand, no point in taking the offer. They want people who can work the long hours per day with no excuses which I understand, however, these events were booked and planned months ago. Be cautious of that before even considering.
