Norman Brinker learned many of his leadership skills in the 1950’s when he proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Today, we continue to honor Norman’s memory and the hundreds of veterans who lead and work in our restaurants.
Burgers. Ribs. Fajitas. It all started with a dream: to create a place you’d want to go and hang out with good friends over a burger and a beer. For people who craved connection with family and friends, we were the only ones to offer a genuine Southwest spirit filled with positive energy.
Since then, we’ve boldly claimed our place in the restaurant universe. Today, you can find us in 32 different countries. We happily celebrated 20 years in Mexico and we’re excited to be opening new locations in Asia and beyond. People around the globe love our Fresh Tex and Fresh Mex flavors, and the fun ways that we make every Guest feel special.

I worked at Chili's Grill and Bar full-time (Less than a year)
I've worked at a few chain restaurants (including Fridays) and chili's is the best!! Of course it depends on coworkers and management but the company itself is great to work for. They are always keeping employees updated and keeping things fun with contests and prizes.
It's a typical serving job, lots of moving and running around, schedule can change but if management is good, they'll make sure you're happy with the days you are working and money is set (but always seems to work out for the best)
Advice to Management
Keep it up!
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chili's Grill and Bar.
First interview was with the FOH manager, who asked me questions about my old serving job and then asked my about my availability. A week later my second one was with the General Manager who basically went over the basics with me.
