I worked at Chiquita Brands full-time (More than 3 years)
Great company culture for corporate America. I learned so much in those 3 years. Executives were readily accessible. Town Halls were held often to provide info. My comments all come from time it was in Charlotte being led by Ed Langeran.
I had a heavy workload and underpaid for all responsibilities. Fresh produce has a low margin and leadership was trying to turn around the business but then became the target of a hostile takeover. I left when Cutrale was moving things to Florida. Cutrale was horrible to work for. You were nothing unless you were a Hispanic male. Things were very secretive. Cheated us out of a portion of our final bonus based on 2014 results (before they owned it).
I applied online. I interviewed at Chiquita Brands in September 2016.
Phone Interview. First interview was a basic phone screen, then you can advance to a second interview. Interview still not completed but they were looking to hire by the next month. The first interview gives details of job overview and what was expected. The second interview was scheduled with an executive a week later. I answered no for an offer, only because the interview process was not complete.
