I worked at Chocolates À la Carte full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Chocolate, who doesn't love it? The product is outstanding, the customer service is world class, but the management is very poor. The company is no longer in business with Mr. Pocrass as CEO but it still exists as a smaller company with a different owner

    Cons

Poor Management of company and finances

    Advice to Management

Hire the right person to head up the company who knows the business and is not arrogant.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chocolates À la Carte (Los Angeles, CA).

    Interview

Knew of the company from a previous position. When the position became available I found it online. Prior to going in for an interview had to fill out a preliminary set of questions and analysis. Very professional. Had a few rounds with various departments and management over 2 separate meetings. Total time from when first contacted to obtaining an interview was 2 weeks. Then found out within a week of the in-person interview the final decision. Was very thorough. Prepped me for the job and had a complete understanding of expectations.

    Interview Questions

    • Ranged from examples of problem solving to how my past experience prepped me for the position.   Answer Question
