We were excited to have BJC President and CEO Rich Liekweg as our guest speaker this morning at the Community Leaders Breakfast Meeting hosted at Christian Hospital. Area leaders and community members gathered to hear Rich talk about the role Christian Hospital plays in our community, and also participate in a Q & A session. Thanks again to everyone who joined us today and to all of you who help support the Christian Hospital mission.

But in all seriousness, we were very proud to cut the ribbon today and officially mark the occasion of Washington University pediatricians at St. Louis Children's Hospital now providing care for pediatric patients in Christian Hospital’s satellite Northwest HealthCare Emergency Department in Florissant.
The ceremony was held in partnership with the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce.

Keep a hold of your hard working employees
I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at Christian Hospital.
Interviewed with someone in HR before choosing a specific floor or unit to interview. Once I passed the interview in HR, my information was passed onto the unit I was interested in and an interview time was set up. The floor interview was quite easy as the Nurse Manager was off and the charge nurse conducted a 1:1 interview. Since that time, they incorporated group interviews into the process.
I was 22 years old and their base pay was $1.55 more than what I was working for at a Nursing home as a CNA. Benefits exceeded expectations at the time.
