I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Christie Digital (Cypress, CA) in May 2015.
Meet with HR Rep and speak with them. First meet with the HR rep via phone. Screened by the HR rep on general knowledge. Called by hiring rep on general knowledge. Send in resume so that they can screen and verify experience and those you have previously worked with. Send in references of previous people so they can check and verify.
