I have been working at Churchill Downs full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Churchill Downs Inc.'s Subsidiary Derby City Gaming took a chance on someone with little IT knowledge and only personal experience no professional.

    Cons

After a year and a half almost the only downside I have experienced was they started to limit over time.

    Advice to Management

Keep looking for the best personalities and attitudes. Creative minds that are personable to keep the atmosphere invigorated and making players WANT to keep coming back.

    Interview

One phone interview with the entire Events team on a conference call. Received an email saying I had gotten the position, start within 2 weeks. I was introduced the everyone on the Events team. It was nice to have everyone included in the decision making process. It showed how important the role was to the rest of the team.
