Cielo – Why Work For Us?

Cielo’s Vision:
Boldly (and forever) Changing the Way the World Views Talent

As the world’s leading strategic Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partner, our more than 2,000 employees serve 154 clients across 92 countries and in 36 languages. That tells you what we do and where we do it, but below tells you more about who we are and will help you discover if your motivators align with our culture.

We are explorers.

The people who choose to work at Cielo are smart, driven, ambitious and resourceful. We are curious, energetic and collaborative. We share a common set of Beliefs, naturally exhibit our Values and take the time to appreciate how those reflections of our culture align with our Strategies and help us to realize our Vision.

Our Values are the behaviors we are expected to exhibit each and every day. They influence our interactions and shape every decision we make.

We believe that together we are more. Operating as One Cielo, we provide a consistent experience for our clients and people regardless of where they are located across the globe.

We believe our people are the best. While others might use similar tools or technology, they will never have the competitive edge that our resourceful employees deliver.

We believe in pushing boundaries. Our entrepreneurial culture creates a strategic advantage for us and our clients, because people perform best when they own their success.

We believe talent is rising in impact and importance. Quality talent is key to our success and the success of our clients. We are committed to making talent their core differentiator.

We believe in working with our clients as a partner, not an outsourcer. WE BECOME YOU means we live each clients’ culture to deliver the best talent and elevate their brand.

We believe everyone deserves a career they love. Our mission is to provide the opportunities our people require to fuel their ambitions.

We believe that we achieve more when we create an environment that is fair, collaborative and inclusive, and our teams are reflective of the communities in which we live and work.

We are dedicated.

Whether located at one of our eight global locations, onsite with our clients or working near-site from a home office, our people are encouraged to do their best work when and how it is best for them. We acknowledge that in a performance-driven organization like Cielo it can be hard to achieve work/life balance. We are committed to working with each employee to define the flexibility required to help them succeed at their career, at home and in their passions.

We extend this commitment to the communities we serve by offering opportunities to give back in our daily activities and through special events and paid volunteer hours.

In addition to options for flexibility, we also offer our people the control to accelerate their own careers. At Cielo, training is not a one-time seminar or single feedback session. We invest heavily in the learning and development of our management, our recruitment teams and our support functions. Our people receive unrestricted access to formal and informal coaching and mentorship, live and on-demand development courses, instruction on the most cutting-edge techniques and access to the market’s most innovative tools and technologies.

We reward excellence.

In exchange for dedication and hard work, we offer a culture of frequent and real-time recognition and a bonus structure based on results-driven performance. We start every meeting with a Values in Motion Moment to showcase the exemplary achievements of our colleagues. We use this dedicated time to recognize how individuals are living our values, exceeding expectations and challenging the status quo. More than a single moment of praise, Values in Motion Moments are just another way that we share breakthrough practices, energize our teams and inspire each other to boundaries and rise above.

Everyone Deserves a Career They Love

At Cielo, we strive to make our hiring process an exceptional experience for all candidates – our clients’ and our own. To achieve this, we try to keep things simple. Our hiring process is summarized in four standard steps:

Apply

Your first step is to search for open positions in your region, country or city that match your skills, talents and experiences. If you know the job you are looking for, use a specific keyword to narrow your search results. Click into the title of the job you have selected and choose to either “Apply Now” at the bottom of the page to answer a series of questions and submit your resume/CV and cover letter. Or, if your LinkedIn profile is your most up to date resume/CV, click Apply with LinkedIn and follow the onscreen instructions.

If you do not see the role you are interested in listed, it most likely means we are not hiring for that position at this time. But we are always growing! Before leaving the site, be sure to join one of our talent communities using the interactive map on the Careers landing page. By signing up you will get company alerts and featured jobs sent directly to your email as a reminder to check back often for new job postings. Please be aware Cielo will never ask for financial information by e-mail, and all official Cielo communications will be delivered from emails ending with "cielotalent.com."

After you apply, if your skills and background are a fit for the position you are interested in or another position at Cielo, a Recruiter will contact you either via phone or e-mail to schedule a phone interview. If you are not chosen to move forward in the process, you will be alerted via e-mail.

Interview

After a successful phone interview with a Recruiter, you may be scheduled for additional interviews with members of the hiring team. These interviews be via over the phone, using video interview technology or onsite at one of our global locations. Your Recruiter will prepare you for who you will be speaking with, and where and when those interviews will take place. Dress code varies by location, so be sure to clarify based on your individual interview schedule.

We use behavioral interview techniques to gain a thorough understanding of your career background, skills, and interests, so come prepared with examples of your past great work! Speaking with current Cielo employees also provides you with an opportunity to learn what it is like to be a part of our high-performing culture, so also come prepared with your own questions.

For some roles, we require a second round of interviews so that more team members can get exposure to what you will have to offer Cielo. Your Recruiter will be transparent with you from the start about the specific steps in your hiring journey, including any assessments or other steps that may be required.

Align

The most important step in the hiring process, while the interview team assesses if your skills, talents and experiences are a fit for their team, it is equally important to take time to align your personal motivators with Cielo’s Vision and Values.

Based on what you have learned during the hiring process, ask yourself if Cielo’s culture a match for your work-style preferences. Your Recruiter can be a great resource for you during this phase, answering your detailed questions about our comprehensive benefit and compensation package or any other questions you still have about working at Cielo.

Offer

If your interview team decides to extend an offer, your recruiter will be in touch via a phone call and an email. The written documentation they share will contain important details about your employment offer. Our benefits, compensation packages and the perks we offer vary by region, work location and role, but all are aligned with our strategic goal of being a great place to work where our employees can fuel their personal ambitions.

Your offer will be contingent on successful completion of pre-employment checks and/or verifications. Again, these vary by region, work location and role, so your recruiting team will walk you through each requirement to ensure your successful start date at Cielo!

Our culture will bring out the best in you. When you complete this hiring process, we have confidence you are ready to rise above with us. Take your first step now.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Cielo in March 2018.

    Interview

I found the whole, on week, interview process to be pleasant. My Recruiter was on top of things & quick to respond/communicate. I could tell she was an advocate for placing me with the best client. My Skype interview with the hiring manager was awesome! The interview went over time & was enjoyable. Our energy & communication made me feel even more excited about the opportunity.
