I worked at Cigna full-time (More than 10 years)
Good pay, benefits, health coverage. Unless you've worked for a temp company you won't appreciate those things.
You have to work for your pay/benefits. I hear employees whine they aren't paid enough when some have no other experience than with Cigna & only paying HCFA. Teleworkers should be monitored as many will do things other than work. The employees I know complain constantly. How about giving them their freedom & hiring others who are worth that high pay/benefits/coverage?0
Advice to Management
Employees should be re-interviewed for their positions each year. They should be monitored & computer shadowed. Raise their daily quota. My friends working for Cigna pay 50 HCFA per day while I pay 60 Medicaid per HOUR of HCFA/UB/COB/ADJUSTMENTS & PROVIDER-VENDOR ADD with lower pay, NO benefits & NO health coverage for a temp company!
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Cigna (Bridgeport, CT).
Quick and professsional. Great experience overall. They asked behavioral questions and took notes on each response. I heard back after 3 business days with an offer. The whole interview took 45 minutes long and they left room at the end for any questions you may have.
