I worked at Cincinnati History Museum as a contractor (Less than a year)
Supportive workplace full of friendly, hard-working people. I worked mostly with fellow seasonal workers, but the full time, non-seasonal managers were just as helpful and excited to be there as the temporary holiday help.
As a performer I found we were given what we needed to entertain guests during the holiday season, and encouraged to be creative.
There were few opportunities to advance from seasonal workers into full-time work. The pay was also not great.
I applied online. I interviewed at Cincinnati History Museum (Cincinnati, OH) in March 2014.
Two steps. 1. Face to Face-personal background
2. Presentation- Scrapping for Victory Demo- explaining the benefit of scrapping/recycling during WW2 in Cincinnati, and how Cincinnatians come together as families to help the Allied power win the war
