Mission: Sales + Rentals. Knowledge + Guidance.
I worked at Citi Habitats full-time (Less than a year)
Fast pace environment which makes the job exciting.
Weekly training sessions with your manager are quite helpful
Can be a very fun job if you're a people person ( and if you associate yourself with a good team).
Real Estate is not for everybody, in order to succeed in real estate you have to be a great people person, and be part of a good team.
Must treat this as a full time job; too many agents enter the field thinking they can do Real Estate part time and they end up failing miserably
Commission splits are rough
Start up costs: Marketing your listings online can be expensive.
Attended info session followed by a brief interview. Then a second interview about 1 hour long at the office I was placed in. Then a week of mandatory training followed.
