I have been working at Citrin Cooperman full-time (More than a year)
Citrin Cooperman goes above and beyond in all aspects. The work/life balance is amazing at the firm. Likewise, you can see that everyone is happy. I enjoy learning from the higher ups. Work gets delegated evenly throughout the office. If at times it seems that a person has more work than others, we all pitch in to help.
The level of service provided to clients is extravagant. Everyone takes the time out to make sure things are done right the first time. I'm young and new to this firm, but I'm excited to see my career grow (by being partner here).
The New Jersey office is the best office.
There is a lot of work during busy season (10 hour work days) but you get paid better than ALL the firms out there. Some partners and directors can be stiffs to talk to, but you need to get on their good side.
Advice to Management
I understand our firm is getting bigger, and I would prefer there not to be any cliques. I don't see many cliques now, but I perceive there to be as our firm gets more employees, more revenue, etc. We need to find a way to phase that out.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Citrin Cooperman.
I interviewed with them on campus and was notified that I passed the first round after 3 weeks (pretty long), they set up a time for me to go to the office but I was busy and had to reschedule. They were very nice and was willing to reschedule it but after giving me the date (no time btw), they ignored my email completely. Overall, not a good process. Should not ignore your candidates, just say yes or no would be nice.
