Best place I've ever had the chance to grow my career - entrepreneurial spirit with big-company talent and infrastructure. Employees with ideas are encouraged to bring those ideas forward to solve problems. Smart colleagues who are grounded and (mostly) ego-free. Company focuses on outcomes, enabling employees to find some work-life harmony...juggling the demands of a professional career with family...as long as you deliver quality on-time, most managers won't tell you where and when it needs to get done.
Some processes are still immature for a big, 28-year-old company.
Advice to Management
Get creative about keeping women in the workforce -- need to break through the gender discrepancy in top leadership roles. Provide more resourcing and funding for career development. This is an area that has historically been underfunded, yet employee feedback over the years indicates it's one of the most requested areas of investment. While it's true that career development comes in all shapes and sizes (not just learning opportunities), Citrix needs to put investment where the talk is, and make sure that we are attracting and retaining the best talent who want to continue to learn and grow.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citrix (Raleigh, NC) in April 2018.
Contacted by a recruiter after applying online. Then had a 1:1 phone call, followed by an in-person group interview. Before the group interview, there's a tour of the Raleigh office (which is amazing), and I had the option to shadow a sales call happening real time. It was a fast and enjoyable process.
