I have been working at Citrix (More than a year)
I have worked in bad companies in the past and I can attest that Citrix is easily one of the best company in the world. Pays very well, Company goes to extra mile to ensure you are accommodated and taken care off. Of course a lot depends on your manager and all of my managers have been nothing but exemplary. Another aspect of the company that impressed me the most is the investment in your growth. If you have the drive, Citrix will help you excel. On top of that they are not cheap, great phone benefits, travel benefits and school tuition assistance to name a few.
So far I did not find anything bad about this company. If I am stretched I would say may be lack of assigned space to employees in fort lauderdale 4th floor, but thats just me. A lot of employees like the open office space.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what ever you are doing. Great products, great management style and keep excelling.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citrix (Fort Lauderdale, FL).
Applied online for a different position, but received an email from HR asking if I was interested in a Director position. I agreed, and set up a time for a phone interview. The HR person never called at the agreed upon time. I sent email to inquire what happened, and HR said she got busy (no apology) and rescheduled for a different day. On the second attempt for the phone interview, the HR person said (before asking me one question) that they were looking for someone with more experience, and that I would not be considered. All of that is fine, but why invite me to apply & then set up an interview, only to tell me I'm not qualified? It made no sense at all & was a waste of everyone's time.
