Work alongside the best managers and sales professionals in South Florida and get a head start on your career. We’re looking for ambitious interns to join our 10-12 week Sales Internship Program—where you’re guaranteed to earn $500 per week or your commission—whichever is greater. Most of our interns are invited to join our Sales Manager in Training Program upon Graduation.

I have been working at City Furniture full-time (More than a year)
The benefits are amazing and keep getting better. In the new year they added paid holidays and scheduling improvements. The company constantly asks you what they can be doing better and they listen! We will soon have tablets to use instead of desktops and my current showroom is being renovated/updated. The company also offers; $1000 in health insurance discounts when you get your preventative screening done, paid vacation, referal bonuses, tons of sales bonuses, and some very USEFUL training. They only promote from within. I am I very satisfied customer and worker.
Working nights and weekends can be difficult. That's when everyone is shopping so that's when we want to work most. With the new scheduling improvements we can now take an entire weekend off every few months.
Advice to Management
Even as a first tier manager I have direct access to my General Manager, Regional Manager, Director of Opporations, and company President. My voice is heard.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at City Furniture (Boca Raton, FL) in January 2017.
I had to go online and fill out the information on their website then I got a call from their HR department she ask you some questions then sent me a aptitude test, if I did well on that said I would have a Skype interview then I would meet with my store manager and I got the job then you get a date to start your training. I had a great experience, I was interviewing at another furniture store/chain and based on the comparison, I can tell you that City Furniture really cares about their employees and they are a forward, Innovative thinking company that I'm extremely excited about working for.
