I have been working at City and County of Denver full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very welcoming, great people, passionate people whom care about what they do and the impact they are making. Rather collaborative and helpful. The talent acquisition team has truly been amazing from my first day in making me feel welcomed being team players and helping me navigate the complexity of learning where to go and whom to go to. I have been at private companies that are much smaller that do not execute this half as well. So much opportunity to learn, grow, and think outside the box within my department and position. Very proud to be a part of the City and County of Denver!

    Cons

Nothing really, maybe how complex it can be, meaning the time it will take to learn everything. For me though this is great, as I love to learn . So many people have been great at being so helpful in navigating this so again not really a con.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at City and County of Denver (Denver, CO) in June 2017.

    Interview

I applied on the website, and 10 days later I received a phone call for a face to face interview downtown Denver. I received an email with instructions on where to go and to leave time for a security screening. I wish I had left earlier as I ran into traffic and parking issues. Everyone I met was helpful and professional. I felt like the interview went well. There were prepared questions, which the two people interviewing took turns asking. I was told there were 2nd interviews and I would be contacted within 2 days as to whether or not I would be invited to those. I got an email saying I was not.
