    Police Cadet Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at City of Glendale (Glendale, CA) in July 2012.

    Interview

Took and passed a written exam. Next step was a panel interview consisting of two people. I had a Sergeant and a Detective interviewing me. I thought that the interview would be longer but lasted for about 10 minutes. They will ask you some of the typical common interview questions and give you three scenario questions. I thought the interview questions were easy but I did prepare for it. The scenario questions were a bit more challenging. I highly stress that you do ask a question to them at the end of the interview or when asked. I also recommend to learn about the city and the department.

    Reasons for Declining

Declined because the position requires that the cadet attends college full time (12-semester units) during it's part-time employment.
