The culture has definitely changed. Employees are treated with dignity and respect. Ideas and innovation are respected and encouraged.
The IS Department is still experiencing a lot of change. New org chart, new managers, still a long way to go.
Advice to Management
Keep working on it. It's a definite improvement.
I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at City of Winston-Salem (Winston-Salem, NC) in October 2016.
Applied online, got a response within 2 weeks. Did the 1st round of interviews with 3 current city employees, heard back after a week and a half. Did a second interview at city hall with 2 people. Its been 3 weeks and still waiting to hear back with final results.
