    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at City on a Hill Charter High School (Boston, MA) in March 2016.

    Interview

I first had a phone interview, which was very basic, and covered why I wanted to apply. I then had a Skype interview, which was far more in-depth with a mini-lesson plan and typical questions. They had sent me an email with links to videos of student testimonials, teacher testimonials, and a typical tutoring lesson, as well as topics to choose from for the mini-lesson plan portion of the interview. The interviewer was young and friendly, and the interview felt more like a conversation than anything else. The whole thing lasted about 45 minutes.
