Advice to Management
Prioritize the retainment of good people. None of your goals can be reached unless your faculty is strong and stable.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at City on a Hill Charter High School (Boston, MA) in July 2017.
Prompt phone screen, and scheduling of in-person visit. Never received any follow-up or response to the multiple emails that I sent the recruiter (who was/is on her way out, and had been relatively unresponsive anyway). Pretty transparent view into their internal disarray/turnover, and it was clear to me that this role was going to be significantly harder as a result. Negative interview experience, but ultimately happy that I got a clear sense of the org/role so that I didn't take a job that wouldn't have been a good fit for me.
