Our mission is simple: to develop and market technically advanced and clinically proven products that make a clear difference in skin care.
In 2001, Clarisonic was founded by a team of scientists and engineers in Seattle, WA, USA. The company began by combining proprietary technology with an innovative vision to transform skin. Three years and 40+ patents later, the Clarisonic Classic Cleansing System was launched in 2004. Since then, Clarisonic has continued to grow and innovate, bringing new ideas to life - including a number of Sonic Cleansing Brushes, the Clarisonic Opal® Sonic Infusion System, and targeted treatment solutions. Today, Clarisonic has surpassed that original vision, transforming the skin care industry.
The Clarisonic Promise: We promise to transform your skin. In fact, we guarantee it.
We're passionate about making high-quality products that deliver unsurpassed results, and we're confident that every product we offer is scientifically proven and able to provide immediate satisfaction, as well as long-term results. Today, the Clarisonic corporate office and manufacturing facility is in Redmond, WA, USA. Clarisonic proudly partners with skin care physicians, dermatologists, luxury retailers, and premium spas.
In this pursuit of transformation, we promise to deliver scientifically proven sonic technology synergistically combined with optimized skincare formulas for a beautifully engineered experience, immediate satisfaction, and long-term results.
American-made and professionally recommended, we proudly partner with skincare physicians, luxury retailers, and premium spas to transform the skin care experience.
Originally developed for skincare professionals to use in treatment, Clarisonic quickly became the #1 cleansing brush recommended by leading dermatologists, aestheticians and spa professionals* – transforming the skincare industry, one pore at a time.
Soon after, Clarisonic introduced the next generation of sonic technology with the Opal® Sonic Infuser, to infuse powerful skincare ingredients into the eye contour, maximizing absorption by driving product deeper into the skin for younger looking eyes, faster.
|The Clarisonic Sonic Method, a combination of patented sonic devices and state-of-the-art skincare formulas, is clinically proven to amplify results of both professional treatments and daily skincare regimens. Our sonic technology harnesses a patented range of sonic frequency to drive oscillation between 200 to 350 movements per second, working with skin's natural elasticity to beautifully transform skin's texture and appearance.|
The Sonic Method for Cleansing
Day and night, skin is subject to oil, perspiration, debris, makeup, and environmental pollutants. These combine to make a sticky, stubborn pore-clogging film that can make the skin look unhealthy, feel rough, and become irritated, while acting as a barrier to skincare products.
Unlike spinning devices, our patented sonic cleansing technology works with skin's natural elasticity, oscillating at a sonic frequency that produces over 300 movements per second. The resulting flexing action created between the outer and inner brushes works to loosen dirt and oil, removing deep-seated impurities from pores and priming skin to better absorb topical treatments.

Now there's a Sonic Method for accelerating the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles far beyond the capabilities of topical treatments alone. The Opal Infuser boosts absorption of our anti-aging sea serum by driving the powerful antioxidants and hydrating marine extracts, deeper into the skin for younger-looking eyes faster.

Great company ro work for, benefits and vacation time excellent
Communication can be stilted between departments
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Clarisonic (Redmond, WA) in June 2016.
Started with a phone screen with external recruiter, followed by a phone interview with the hiring/engineering manager. Final phone interview was with both a second engineering manager and the engineering director. One face to face interview for a half day with 3 engineers, 2 engineering managers, and the engineering director, plus HR for you to ask any HR related questions.
I was applying from out of state, during the entire process they continued to remind me there was no budget for relocation, which I was ok with given a reasonable offer. Before each phone interview this was brought up. When it was time for a face-to-face interview, they were reluctant to fly me out there -they wanted to be certain I would accept an offer if one was given. Without an offer on the table, I couldn't make that promise. Luckily, I was able to make arrangements so it wouldn't cost them anything for me to come out there -but it required vacation time and money on my part. After the interview, that I thought went generally well, I was told they decided they wanted to pursue candidates with less experience and lower salary requirements (which I made clear from the first phone screen).
I'm not bitter because I didn't get an offer. I accepted a more interesting opportunity elsewhere in the Seattle area -so offer or not I probably wouldn't have ended up working here. But I am pretty annoyed that during the entire process they continually wanted to make sure I was serious about working there, when in the end (after time and money out of my pocket), they apparently had no idea what kind of candidate they wanted to hire.
