Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

  1. Office Manager Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Petaluma, CA

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview
    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Climate (Petaluma, CA) in Jul 2022

    Interview

The Interview process went smoothly and each was spaced out cleanly for extra prep in between them. I was able to take a good break, refresh my drink or make some lunch with no rush before the next interview.
    Interview

Kayla was enjoyable to talk with and had good questions that probed more into my experience managing offices and how I would handle certain situations. Phillice gave me both a detailed view on the scope of work for this position, the culture of the office and her expectations, which I very much enjoyed talking with her about. Finally, Simon was a very outgoing and friendly man who I felt we hit it off right from the first words spoken. Good sense of humor, and he answered my question of what he was looking for in an Office Manager for SF. All in all, very good conversations with questions asked of me which I answered clearly with good, detailed perspectives that I felt each of the team members were looking for in me.
