I worked at Clipper full-time (More than 3 years)
Met a few nice people that I became friends with and still keep in touch.
Selfish minded owner who only thinks about her own benefits. Does not pay to be honest, professional, dedicated, and hard working! You get screwed rather than compensated for all your efforts and contributions to the company's success. Too much politics too. If you know how to flatter and don't have any sense of ethic and morality, this would be the place for you.
Advice to Management
To the Owner -If you want respect, you need to give people respect. If you treat people well, they will give their life to you and treat you like a dear friend or family. If you screw them unethically, karma will come back to you.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Clipper (Chicago, IL) in February 2015.
Met with me face to face. Felt like they were doing me a favor by seeing me. Said I have great experience, but nothing open right now. The interviewer said that she would contact me within the week with another department manager name but I did not receive any response. I called in as a follow up but kept being tossed from one manager to another.
