I worked at Clipper Magazine full-time (More than a year)
Love the company. Excellent growth and training opportunities. Good products and great people, I liked the benefits package, and that I got to work independently.
The territory's are large in the west and take a lot of drive time, but very lucrative as well.
Advice to Management
Great team leadership. Great experience and over all a good experience.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Clipper Magazine (Gaithersburg, MD) in October 2016.
The interview process consisted of a phone interview with a company recruiter .
Then I went to a face to face meeting in Gaithersburg with the field manager and the regional manager which i met at the Hilton Hotel for over an hour.
Then a week later i was contacted by Human resources and was asked to e-mail over three professional references.
After a week went by i sent an e-mail to the HR contact to see if they had contacted my references and got a reply back that they did not think that my experienced matched up to the position .
What i do not understand was why they asked for the references a week after the interview if they were not going to go forward , Especially since they did not call any of the references.
My feeling was that if i did not send the e-mail to inquire about my references they would have not felt the need to contact me and tell me anything .
