Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Pros- Bootstrapped (and profitable)... - This means we only answer to our customers (customer focused) - Freedom to do meaningful work without politics or red tape - Highly collaborative team, welcoming
ConsI've worked in tech companies large and small and nothing compares to the experience at Close. No cons to mention!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Close (United States)
InterviewInterview with the recruiter and the hiring manager. Then they want you to build a presentation on their product which somehow you need to learn overnight. After you submit your presentation you get a cold email back that they don't want you and that they cannot provide any feedback. They don't have any regard for the time and effort you invested to do this and speak with you for 5 minutes to explain what didn't go well.
