Interview
Close asks for a resume and cover letter, but they go even further. They also want everyone to answer 4 long form questions and 1 coding challenge. After you take the time to fill everything out properly. Their recruiting team will tell you they're just so busy and important that they cannot possibly provide you with a single sentence of feedback. The hiring team has no emotional intelligence. They ask you to spend a bunch of time jumping through hoops, but then tell you their time is so valuable that they couldn't possibly take 1 minute to give you feedback. This is incredibly selfish and demeaning. Shame on your hiring team.InterviewIn four sentences or less, describe your last customer facing position. (Key responsibilities, tools/practices used, and biggest learnings/takeaways). A customer writes in to tell you that they have a tremendous amount of duplicate lead records in Close, and asks if you can help them identify duplicates. How would you go about helping them identify these duplicates? Explain the concepts of “Webhooks” and “API Polling” to someone non-technical. When are these concepts used? How do they differ? Write a Python function that: (a) Takes a string as a parameter. (b) Prints out each character followed by their index and the number of times character appears in the string (ignoring capitalization). (c) For example, if you passed in 'HelloOo!!' to the function, the result would be: H (0) - 1 e (1) - 1 l (2) - 2 l (3) - 2 o (4) - 3 O (5) - 3 o (6) - 3 ! (7) - 2 ! (8) - 2 Describe your experience working remotely and if you have any experience working across multiple time zones in an asynchronous environment.
