    I applied through an employee referral The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CloserIQ (New York, NY)

    Interview

    The interview process took approximately one month. It began with a phone screen that turned into an employee referral. I had a quick video chat with a hiring manager and then moved on to a writing sample exercise. After submitting the writing sample I was asked to put together a mock pitch for my prospective manager. This mock pitch was also done over video chat and took about half an hour. I was then asked to interview in the final round at their headquarters in New York. The final round was spilt into three sections: a forty-five minute presentation in front of a manager, a half hour chat about culture and your background with their CEO, and finally a half hour opportunity to ask one of their advisors any questions you might have. This company is very concerned about fostering a positive culture so they are actively looking to see if you mesh well with their ideals. The interview process is nothing overly difficult, but they seem to have very high standards so bring your A-game. A word of caution: they will not pay traveling expenses if you're located outside of the city. Altogether a positive experience, was disappointed not to receive an offer.
