I have been working at Cloudwords full-time (More than a year)
The company pays well for top performers and rewards them handsomely.
Because the company and business are smaller some reps aren't willing to put in the work. This includes prospecting and traveling. Cloudwords for the time being just doesn't operate like Oracle.
Advice to Management
Allow for the voice of the reps to be heard and continue to build a fair/honest culture.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Cloudwords (Chicago, IL) in April 2015.
I was looking for sales roles that didn't require a ton of experience and found the posting for a Sales Development Representative position at Cloudwords through my alma mater's alumni career page. I applied online by sending my resume and cover letter to the hiring manager's email address and heard back very quickly. Within 2 days of applying, I was on a phone interview where I was asked questions regarding my interest in the role, the company and in sales. The phone interview also provided me a chance to ask questions about the role and Cloudwords in general. My phone call was around 40 minutes and we schedule a F2F interview the following week and was offered the role at the end of that meeting.
