Coach was founded in 1941 as a family-run workshop, and today is a leading New York design house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle collections. We attribute the prominence of the Coach brand to the unique combination of our original American attitude and design, our heritage of fine leather goods and custom fabrics, our superior product quality, and our commitment to the customer experience.
At Coach, we bring together strong, collaborative people in a culture of mutual respect, support, accountability, and passion for the brand and product. Our goal is to offer an inspirational and modern workplace that allows for exceptional talent to thrive.
At Coach, we believe an inspirational and modern work environment is where exceptional talent thrives.
We nurture a culture infused with creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, learning and achievement to allow our people to always bring their best. We are inspired, talented, and diverse individuals who work collaboratively to drive the continued success of our brand.
And, we know the Coach culture is truly a reflection of our Coach people—both who we are and who we strive to be, simply defined by our Coach Values.

We nurture authenticity. We stay true to who we are. We say what we do, do what we say and hold each other accountable, and build genuine, rewarding relationships—with customers, partners and each other.
We integrate individuality and teamwork. We are high-performing individuals who work together for the greater good of Coach, Inc. We encourage personal initiative and invite a diversity of perspectives. We take responsibility for delivering excellence—as individuals and as a team.
We fuse creativity and logic. We trust our emotions and imagination to propel us onward. We use judgment to connect instincts and logic. We learn from our experience.
Coach was founded in 1941 as a family-run workshop. Inspired by a baseball glove, its distinctive markings and how supple the leather became with use, the founder created Coach’s first bag.
In a Manhattan loft, six artisans handcrafted a collection of high-quality leather goods using skills handed down from generation to generation. Discerning consumers soon began to seek out the quality and unique nature of Coach craftsmanship.
Our business is founded on the concept of a single consumer, a single product, and a single sale or transaction.
Over the last decade, we have built Coach into a leading international accessories company with a loyal and highly engaged consumer franchise.
In 2016, Coach moved to its new global headquarters—a 52-story LEED Gold designed tower—at 10 Hudson Yards.
Adjacent to the High Line—an elevated urban park redesigned from a former freight railway line—the section bordering our building will become a focal point for cultural events.
Coach employees enjoy a true urban campus at the forefront of a renaissance in Manhattan.

Advice to Management
Keep up the good work.
Team work makes the dream work!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Coach (New York, NY) in September 2016.
There were three rounds of interviews in one day and I heard back from HR within the next week. The interview took place at their headquarters. I was greeted by someone from the HR department and had all three interviews back to back. Very well organized process!
