    Pros

Coalmarch is a relatively small company, which means every employee has the ability to make their mark, share their ideas, impact the bottom line, and have a say in our goals and priorities. As long as you have the drive and initiative, you will be given opportunities and responsibilities to own. You also have the ability to carve out your own career path, move to a different department, etc. There is no set "career path" - we'll provide guidelines and options but we're flexible and prioritize putting people where they'll have the biggest impact, best utilize their skillsets, and what will make them happy.

Coalmarch's culture is second to none. It really is like a family - we care about each other, our clients, our partners, and want to make everyone feel like they belong and are valued. We also pride ourselves on work/life balance and flexibility: 38 hour work week, work from home/flexible working schedule, remote work opportunities, fun company activities, decent amount of time off, etc. Coalmarch also often adds new perks, like pawternity leave (working from home when you get a new pet) or a 2-week sabbatical.

Our work is very interesting, you can always count on learning something new and things to continuously change in the industry. Our clients truly value the work we do and the impact it has on their businesses, and our ability to help small business owners is the core of our business. We take pride in our work.

    Cons

We have a younger management team, which can be both a good and bad thing. The positive part is that the managers were previously in the day-to-day roles so they understand the problems individual employees are facing, they can empathize. The management team also works well together and encourages feedback. The only con is just that they are still developing their management experience & styles compared to other "seasoned" managers elsewhere. Since our company skews on the younger side though, this isn't a huge problem and we all work as a team!

As an agency, we tend to be more fast-paced, especially during certain times of the year when we have a lot going on.

Compensation can be seen as a con, especially for starting salaries. If you are a top performer, you can expect significant increases in pay throughout your time here. Not to mention the value of all the other benefits Coalmarch provides.
