Mission: Coast Dental strives to make a difference in the lives of our patients and our employees. Our approach is unique because we are a unique Dental Service Organization (DSO) that is still managed by our founding dentist and family partnership. We do whatever is in our power to ...
When it comes to comprehensive dental care, you're in the right place. Since 1992, patients have trusted the Coast Dental family of dentists to provide quality care in a friendly, caring environment. Their trust has made Coast Dental one of the largest dental providers in the U.S.
Coast Dental was founded in 1992 by Dr. Adam Diasti and Dr. Derek Diasti in Holiday, Florida. Today, Coast Dental is a leading provider of quality dental care in 120 practices throughout the eastern and western United States. The experience, stability, and longevity of our company allows our team to blend progressive and personalized dentistry with a strong business support structure to deliver optimal patient care. Despite the company’s phenomenal growth, Coast is committed to staying on the cutting edge of clinical information and technology.
Our patient number is around 1 million and patient visits exceed 600,000 annually. Coast Dental operates in four states including Florida, Georgia, Texas and Nevada. All Coast Dental practices provide general dentistry services, and many also offer specialty services including orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, and periodontics. Coast Dental currently boasts more than 1,400 team members who help create healthy and beautiful smiles for our patients. The support office, headquartered in Tampa, Florida provides non-clinical business and centralized administrative service.
At Coast Dental and Orthodontics, we believe in the power of teamwork. Our journey all started with our founder’s vision of making patient care the center of the practice.
We know a rewarding career includes a superior compensation and benefits package and the opportunity to work with a progressive and well-respected dental group that is helping shape the future of dentistry.
You will also enjoy a professional and personal work-life-balance and thrive in a culture that supports advancement, training and continuing education.

I have been working at Coast Dental Services full-time (More than 10 years)
In my 20+ years with Coast I have witnessed numerous changes but the primary directive has always been to provide the BEST possible patient care with the most current materials and instrumentation available. As a hygienist, I have also enjoyed being viewed as a health care provider and not just an employee of the dentist in the practice, which is what winds up happening in private practice settings. There are also many benefits available that are not available in private practice, i.e. 401K, health insurance, paid vacation, etc.
Many equate working for a dental corporation like working in a clinic because of the numerous dental plans accepted, so some may see this as a con of working for Coast. Also there are not a lot of the private practice "perks", like the dentist paying for trips, or taking the staff to dental conventions.
Advice to Management
I would love to see the CEO, COO, etc. take the time to visit offices outside of the home city area like they did back in the early years of the company. I think it would build "family" more so than the large quarterly meetings.
i went in for an interview and was asked to come back for a working interview. I did the working interview for one full day and was offered the job.
