I worked at Codeship as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers that care about what they're doing and will help you if you run into issues

    Strong remote culture

"Team weeks" in awesome locations to bring together remote coworkers

Management is extremely transparent, open to feedback

Lots of freedom to work on product-related projects that interest you

Strong adherence to industry best practices on the engineering team

    Cons

For employees in the Boston office, it can be a weird balance between remote/in-person relationships. I never felt disconnected from either, but it took a while to get used to

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Codeship (Boston, MA) in August 2016.

    Interview

We mostly met via several one-on-one Google Hangouts. Every person that I talked to was very friendly and professional. I was very impressed at how each person really took the time to talk, answer your questions, and listen to you. You don't feel like you're just a number, or that they're trying to rush through and finish the interview so they can get one with their day.
