Technical training/cross training programs
Over the past several years, our customers have relied on our ability to deliver high end technological solutions for their existing and upcoming business needs. In order to fulfill our technological commitments to our customer, it is crucial that we deploy qualified resources capable of analyzing, designing and developing top notch IT solutions.
Training new employees and cross - training existing employees on current and upcoming technologies is crucial to our business both nationally and regionally.
COGENT has made substantial investments in setting up a dedicated In-house training facility at our Pittsburgh location. The training facility comprises State-of-the-Art infrastructure comprising latest hardware, software, training material, on-line learning portal etc. Training is imparted by an in-house technical trainer on latest technologies.
This training is imparted at no cost to the employees. Lodging, boarding, transportation, training materials, laptops etc. are also provided at no cost to the employees.

I had got placed on good projects. I learned valuable skills that proved to be very useful in my current project as well. I learned various new technologies and implement those in the projects. Every challenges and obstacles in projects were building block for my career. I always get a good support and guidance in the time of need from cogent team. During my employment period, I remember that I was always able to directly connect and share my problems with cogent team no matter of their busy schedule. Cogent also provided good employment benefits.
Cogent might need to adapt with market dynamics and rapid changing technologies. It will be more better if Cogent get feedback from each and every employee time and again.

Back and forth many times. And interview on a Sunday morning. The interview must use google hangout or skype. You should look at the screen's question to answer. There're 20 MCQs about core java knowledge or coding pieces. You should choose which one is the correct answer in 20 mins.
Then you should explain some concepts about your resume such as .net mvc, mvc design pattern, java spring vs .net mvc, what is type safe, what is spark, what is scala, scala vs java, dependency injection, singleton, entity framework etc...
