    I worked at Cognex full-time

Quality company with innovative products, market leader in machine vision technology. Likely company and the intellectual property will keep increasing in importance as AI vision starts to become prevalent.

Poor recycling program and break areas could have more than just coffee. Conference rooms could have better technology & features for more streamlined meetings.

    Advice to Management

Work a little more on personnel development, training and providing advancement opportunities for staff. Business unit cross collaboration could be improved to find more overall company efficiency.

    Average Interview

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Cognex (Portland, OR).

A recruiter called, had in-person meeting with his recruiting team. I received relatively easy coding questions in email to finish. I finished it with no issues. A few days later had phone screening with the hiring manager for 45 minutes talking mostly about what I have done and some basic technical questions.

The person use speaker phone causing some echo on his voice, but later blamed me for his difficulty hearing me talking.

I enjoyed the on-paper coding questions, though. A positive experience for me.
